[2020] I have to join friends in Uplay everytime

Just to double-check so that I understand this correctly - you are referring to in-game invitation system and you're unable to join or invite any players with you.

Could you advise whether the same issue happens to your friend, with anyone who they invite/try to join, or is that something that is affecting mainly just you? Also, when you say you're unable to join friend's invite - could you clarify whether it comes through to you in the first place? This would help us to narrow down the reasons that may be affecting this, so get back to us when you get a chance and we will take it from there.

After double-checking with this with team, I can confirm that this is working as intended and Uplay PC is the application you would have to use to invite other players to join you.
