My sons Xbox will not connect to Ubisoft server when launching Rainbow six siege.

Stays on a black screen with the red logo and has been like this for over 24 hours.

We have unlinked the account. Now cannot re-link as you need to launch the Ubisoft club but it stays on that screen.

We have tested the Internet connection and everything is fine. We have shut the Xbox down. Relaunched the Xbox. Removed the Ubisoft app and reinstalled it.

We are now at a loss and one very fed up kid. Please send help.

I'm sorry to hear that, Hopefully we can get to the bottom of what's causing these connectivity issues for him.

We did experience some connectivity issues around the time you made this post which have now been resolved. If I can ask you to try relinking once again first of all just to see if that works now.

If you continue to experience connectivity issues I would then recommend going through our connectivity troubleshooting for Siege which you can find here.

Hello everyone!

We have seen some reports of this issue and I hope to provide you with some new information.

Some players have reported they are now able to link their accounts. If not however, I have 2 possible workarounds -

1. The new Terms of Use have not yet been accepted. Once done, that may resolve your issue
2. We can use the Ubisoft Club website to link your account

Here we go -

1. Go to the Ubisoft Club website: https://club.ubisoft.com/ and make sure you're signed out
2. Click to Sign in
3. Select the Xbox icon and sign in with your Xbox account details

- If you have not yet accepted the Terms of Use, you will now be prompted
- If you have not yet linked your accounts, you will now be asked to sign in with your Ubisoft account
