I've been noticing that ever since a couple months ago, I'll have games where the entire lobby is experiencing extremely high ping (300+) for no reason. I mainly play on US West servers as I'm in Cali, but when I was in Michigan on US East/Central servers, the issue was present there too. It's extremely frustrating to play with such high latency and I'd love to see an official solution relatively soon.

Hey! Thank you for letting us know about these high-ping servers you have come across.

In these instances it is difficult to identify the cause of these issues, it could be down to an individual player, server issues, maintenance, your own connection etc...

Did you find that whilst playing there was any lag/latency or disconnects?

@lie-nus Hello!

Thank you for getting in touch here with your experience of lag affecting a whole lobby.

Would you be able to tell us how often you're seeing instances of lag/high ping across a lobby?

We can also recommend our connectivity articles here, as a way to ensure the software has its best chance of being able to communicate with our services. While there are still outside factors, making sure that this troubleshooting is carried out allows us to fix common problems, or move on to more tailored troubleshooting if needed.

You may also wish to try changing your data centre, to see if the issue persists.

Thanks again for your report!

@macattack-hpu Hello there.

Thanks for providing this screenshot of what you're seeing regarding ping at the moment.

As mentioned above, there are a number of possible causes for this. It may be down to an individual player, server issues, maintenance, your connection to R6S, amongst other things. Would you be able to let us know if you've followed the steps given below, or if changing your data centre has any impact on this?

We can pass on your suggestion for a server reporting tool! We do have a server status site here for players to check, should they encounter any issues.

Many thanks.
