Hi! First timer here. Whenever I open R6 I run it fine at around 70FPS but the moment I use the Ubisoft Connect overlay the FPS drops down to 40. For a few minutes, alt-tabbing out of and back to R6 may fix the lag but it consistently keeps coming back. I've installed the latest drivers to fix this to no avail. This started happening pretty recently and this has never happened in the entire year I've played the game. I'm running the game on an ASUS Q524UQ with an NVIDIA GeForce 940MX, an i7-7500U, 12GB of DDR4 RAM and it runs just fine.

@fiurscurgo @Fiurscurgo Thank you both for your reply. Does this only happen with the overlay?

It may be worthwhile to disable it:

Open the three-line menu in the top left corner of your screen.
Select Settings.
Under the General tab, uncheck Enable in-game overlay for supported games.

You should still then be able to Alt-Tab out of the game to use the friends feature within Ubisoft Connect to invite or accept game requests.

If you need further help please let us know.
