This problem happened recently and I have no idea why. My Uplay and Steam gmails are synced so I figured there wouldn't be conflicts for the game that way, i'm not sure where to start to fix this. I believe this same problem has happened commonly before and people who had it said it fixes itself but thats after months. I would TRULY appreciate any tips on how to fix this, thank you so much.

Hi Soseyeity!

Sorry to hear you are having an issue when launching the game.

I am afraid from the description, I am not completely sure what is happening. Are you able to provide video showing the issue?

Thanks!

I tried also launching with Uplay, also appearing to launch but with the same situation as with Steam, the game never opens. So in a nutshell its, tries to run game, game loads, game cancels loading and never opens. I apologize for responding late and not being able to give a video but if you really need it, I will try my best to get it to you as I am also having issues transmitting a video to you. I will reply much sooner from here on out and thank you!
Thank you for getting back to us, Soseyeity!

I have seen similar reports from other users on the forums and they have advised the game was being blocked by Bitdefender. Here's how to fix it:

-Launch Bitdefender
-Click Settings
-Click exclusions
-Click add exclusions
-Add rainbowsix.exe

If you have Bitdefender please try the above steps. If you do not have Bitdefender or the issue persists please try the following:

Run the game with ADMINISTRATOR RIGHTS.

Verify your game files.
It is possible that the installation of your game is faulty. To fix this, please verify your game files:

UPLAY
EPIC GAMES LAUNCHER
STEAM

Disable Background Applications.

Make sure your OPERATING SYSTEM is UP TO DATE.

Reinstall Uplay.

Update your GPU Drivers:

AMD
NVIDIA

Should the issues persist after completing the above steps, please GET IN TOUCH, attaching DXDIAG and MSINFO reports to your SUPPORT CASE.

Thank you.
