The game ignores the windows setting for which mouse button should be used as the primary button. Remapping the buttons in-game only allow for changes in game-play (switching aim-down and fire buttons), but it doesn't allow for changes that affect how you interact with the games menu and ui.

here's the mouse that i'm using, and because i want to utilize the mouse buttons on the right of the controller, i have booted the mouse in the 'left configuration'

please note how this flips the 1 and 2 buttons. We'll ignore the fact that switching the mouse buttons like this for southpaws is not how any left handed person uses a mouse in real life, yet mouse companies continue to make mice this way. that's not what i'm here to complain about.
The simple work-around is to change the windows mouse settings so the actual physical left mouse button is the 'primary' button. This works in a multitude of other games, however siege doesn't seem to care which setting is selected. I need another work around or fix please?

thanks for reading!

Thank you for your feedback, I will pass this onto the Rainbow Six Siege team.

I have also tested this myself and unfortunately there is no workaround.

Hey jhir.nubstim, thanks for reaching out!

Would you be able to elaborate on the issue you're having after last update? Is it possibly the case where you're having console layout despite not using controller?
