Completely unaccaptable to give abandon penalties/sanctions when the game crashes. You need to fix your game. You can easily tell that someone has had the game crash when they send you a crash report. That should automatically cancel any sanctions and let you re-join the game when it is clearly still going. Completely unaccaptable.

Sorry to hear about your issues with crashing. I will certainly pass your feedback on regarding abandon sanctions, I can appreciate this is frustrating whenever this occurs so if this is a regular occurrence I would strongly recommend we try to resolve/mitigate this as much as possible.
The first thing I would suggest is to attempt each step suggested here. These steps are known to resolve most of the common causes of crashing/freezing.
If after doing so you're still experiencing issues I'd then recommend opening a support case. You can reach us either through the support website by opening a live chat session or alternatively through our social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter and they will be able to create a support case for you.
After you've opened the case if I can also ask you to attach two system reports to the case that will assist us in identifying any potential cause. The reports we need from you are:

DxDiag
