Recently my rainbow six siege just decided to act up and just wont start whatsoever.
i have kept my pc the same as it were when i could play r6.
first my r6 shortcut just stopped working. i tried opening the game thru it and it just wouldn't do it. so i had to open the game thru the .exe file which worked for some time.
but now i'm getting an error msg saying "entry point not found" a screenshot: https://imgur.com/r1g2WAN
i have tried a lot of things: reinstalling the game, verifying game files, clean reinstall of the game, deleted ubi launcher cache, reinstalling ubi launcher, system file scan, updating windows 11, updating graphics card drivers, looking if any antivirus is blocking it, looking if firewall is blocking it.
and I've also gotten the error code: 0xc000009a.
so i'm running out of ideas on how to fix this.
if any1 could help me with this i would HIGHLY appreciate it.
my system is: CPU:Ryzen 7 5800x
GPU:RTX 3070Ti
MB:B450 Tomahawk max
SSD:Samsung Evo 970
OS: Windows 11
RAM:Corsair Vengeance 16gb

Hi there @Pro989assasin thanks for reaching out and I apologize for the delayed response! I do see you've looked into quite a few things to work towards solving this error, including making sure your drivers were updated. With this error message hinting towards driver version, could you try out the Nvidia guide here to select a clean installation of only the most recently released Game Ready Driver? Please let me know how things go!

Thank you as well to @zeBaconcake for dropping by to look into things! 😅

@Pro989assasin Hey there! Sorry for our delayed response. Since the image you're encountering is related to the dynamic link library (DLL), I would suggest going through the steps in our guide here next. If this continues to happen, please create a support ticket along with a copy of your system files so we can continue to take a more in-depth look into this. Thank you!

@Pro989assasin Hey! Sorry the steps I suggested did not help. I can assure you I'm not a robot, haha. I'm sorry for the frustration this has caused though. After looking through the system files you provided, I have a few more ideas of what steps might help. First, please turn off any unnecessary peripherals that you may have connected to your PC. Please also disable background applications and do a clean boot where you turn off any unnecessary programs at startup. Something else you can try is to run a registry cleaner to help fix any errors that may be happening with the Windows registry. Finally, since you mentioned you are also seeing the error code 0xc000009a, I would actually suggest you reach out to Microsoft for further support. There seems to be an issue with your Windows system files, and they should be better able to help address that.
