So i have been playing r6 now for 80 hours on pc and just randomly last week my sounds started glitching. Every match just at a ranom point i cant hear any shooting, steps or basicly anything. Can someone tell me how do i fix this issue?

Hi ORAVA_IMURI, thanks for getting in touch about your sound issues, I have a few questions for you if you wouldn't mind -

- What kind of headset set up are you using?
- Does this appear in all games or just Siege?
- What game modes / maps have you noticed this on?
- Are you playing the DirectX version or the Vulkan version?
- Are you using any enhancement software such as Razer Synapse or any surround sound software for your audio device?
- Have you been able to record a clip of this?

Once you can let me know these details I will do my best to investigate this further for you.

In all maps, and game modes only in multiplayer so thunt is working perfectly fine.

im playing on the directX version.

Only things that i have done to my audio is that i have changed the bass boost on in the settings but it worked fine on my last pc like this.

Is this still ongoing?

And if so, could you please try verifying the game files and let us know if there are any changes?

Does this also happen when using another output device too, such as speakers or another another headset?

Thanks for the update ORAVA_IMURI, missing footsteps and gun shot sounds have previously been under investigation by the Siege team, for a few of our seasonal updates.

In order to open a new investigation into this, with the concrete evidence you have provided me in that clip, could you please tell me the exact date when this issue first occurred for you in game 2 weeks ago if possible?

We were hoping this issue was resolved upon entering the release of Y6, but I will happily reopen the investigation after you can get back to me on the above, thanks again for your help.
