Our newer games and Steam/Epic purchases should automatically connect to your Ubisoft account and shouldn't ask you for a key. If you are being asked for a key, you may have one of the following issues >
- You may be running an outdated version of Ubisoft Connect. The new version can be downloaded here > https://ubi.li/4vxt9
- You have not created a Ubisoft Account yet, to do this please see this guide > https://www.ubisoft.com/en-gb/help/article/00007866
- You are logged into a different Ubisoft/Steam/Epic account, than the account the game was originally activated on.
- You may see a message that says "There was a problem authenticating the ownership of this product" message. This means you are using the wrong login details.

When you contact us, please let us know the following information to help us locate your correct details >
- Game name
- Steam/Epic unique ID code
- Ubisoft username
- Email addresses
- A screenshot of proof of purchase, or gift receipt for the game
