Here's an example of a company that is doing anti-cheating the right way, Ubi. Farming out anti-cheat to proven failures like BattlEye is not the solution. The correct solution is to commit your company to stamping out cheating and impose the strictest, most powerful anti-cheating measures it is possible to use and then USE them. No slaps on the wrist. No piddly little 24 hour time-outs. You BAN them from your game for LIFE. Period. End of story.

Learn the lesson. Then apply it.

That's great to hear. We care about the player experience and know how frustrating running into cheaters can be. I play this game a ton and see/read how upsetting it is. We're doing our best to remove these kinds of players from our game.

We have to be careful with how much information we release to the public. I can almost guarantee there were cheaters and hackers who read our blog post hoping for us to say just enough so that they can pre-plan ways around our tactics. The same goes for mentioning specific cheats. We know which ones exist, but if we verbally mention them, then that lights a fire under the ones who create them to retrofit and evolve their hacks so that they're undetectable to our new systems and anti-cheat measurements. I understand your level of concern that we didn't mention anything specific, but we have plans in place.

I was made aware just a bit ago that BE had a few large ban waves today, so the plan is already in motion.
