Hey all, I just want to report that as of the 418.81, Siege has been randomly crashing to desktop. It freezes for like 10 seconds, then closes. I am on an RTX 2080. I have seen other reports of this, though the reports didn't specify their card, so I'm not sure if this is only limited to the 2080, impacts all turing GPUs, or impacts all Nvidia GPUs in general. I've seen some posts confirming downgrading to a driver prior to 418.81 resolves the issue. I know I definitely didn't have this problem with prior drivers. As soon as I updated my driver it was like day and night... no crashes or stability issues, and then all of a sudden... crashes (albeit not that commonly, only once every several games). I don't believe this is Ubisoft's fault but I'm posting here in the hopes they see this and reach out to Nvidia telling them to release a hotfix for it. Currently, I am running 419.17 and have seen no improvement with this issue, so I can confirm newer versions of the driver haven't fixed it. Thanks for reading.

I was initially experiencing the crashing issue on the new drivers too, so I'm just sticking with 417 for now.

Hey,

If you have full screen optimization enabled, can you disable this?

Hey MadLemon2015,

Sorry to hear about your crashing issues!

I would recommend you try the steps in this FAQ, if they do not fix the issue, let us know.

Lastly, please do not comment on threads that are old. If you are experiencing an issue and the thread you have found is several months old with no activity, it is best to create a new thread
