I had parched Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege around 2 years ago in a summer sale, the Deluxe version, and haven't played ever since but was on my Library, and download now. I have signed in to my account and all in Ubisoft connect, it showed I would get which packages but after I press continue it showed- " There was a problem authenticating the ownership of this product please contact customer support if you need help". How to solve this problem. the steam account is the same account as this account and this is the 1st time I have downloaded it on my pc. 
how to solve this?

An authentication error usually occurs when you are logged into the wrong Ubisoft Connect PC account while launching a game. As a first step, please make sure you're logged into the correct Ubisoft account. If you do not know or recall what account the game you're trying to launch is on, please reach out to our Support Teams via our Support WebsiteTwitter DMs, or Facebook PMs, with a screenshot of the following file location. >>
 
 C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\cache\ownership
 
 
Please also include a screenshot of your proof of purchase of the game from Steam that you're trying to launch.
 
 
 
If you're contacting through Social Media, please make sure to also include the username and email address associated with your Ubisoft account. Our teams there will have to link your account before you're able to upload your files. Thank you!

As you're unable to locate the file mentioned by @Ubi-SpaceCats, I'd recommend contacting our colleagues over at the Ubisoft Support, with the proof of purchase of your game from Steam!
