Whenever I go to my settings in game and back out, my VRAM usage goes from 2000ish/4000ish to 6000ish/4000ish. This renders the game unplayable, causes me to lag, and I have to quit for the settings to reset. I have a MSI GTX 970 (older I know but can run the game just fine). I am not sure the cause of this bug, I have the in-game overlay disabled.

Hello @HadesCorner sorry to hear your game is lagging and your VRAM usage keeps changing in the settings.

have you tried any troubleshooting for this issue such as those contained in this list to see if it can stop the lag you experience? >

The minimum video card we recommend for the game is an Nvidia GeForce GTX 460. Can you tell us some of your other specs such as CPU, ram, GPU driver?

@HadesCorner Hi again, sorry for the delay on this thread. I have dropped a comment on your other thread you mention. For what you are seeing with the changes in VRAM can you also complete our graphical troubleshooting guide here? While these steps are aimed more at visual issues (think screen tearing or FPS drops), I am mainly interested in testing out a few of the other suggestions for performance such as enabling or disabling Vsync and fully disable any screen-capture or overlay software.
