What would happen with unopened alpha packs that you have on one platform? I assume they would carry over.
I ask that because there will be no restitution for duplicated items, so if I open my xbox packs that have no duplicates and get the same item on PC I just lost a pack, but if wait to open after the cross progression then there will be no chance for duplicates and I would get something for sure.
Any news on a release date for full cross-progression?

At this time we have no further information regarding a date for cross-progression, likewise, such specific details like how this will impact certain content like Alpha Packs has yet to be confirmed.
Other titles that support cross progress (such as Assassin's Creed Valhalla) do allow for some store bought content to be available across all platforms, however we don't yet know how this system will work in Rainbow Six: Siege.
Please keep an eye on the game's official channels as well as the News and Announcements forum for information on this when it becomes available.
