I bought Rainbow six siege on steam and after starting it, ubisoft connect asks me for a activation code but i never got something like that.
Furthermore I read on some websites that the problem could be that I am logged in ubisoft connect with the wrong account but i dont have an second account, just the one i connectet with when opening the game with steam for the first time.
Also a guy from ubisoft on one of the websites told me, i should contact this support, but isnt there any other way(besides clearing the cache) ?

Hello Warlock4848, thanks for getting in contact with us. Please make sure first of all to run the game and the launcher with administrator rights as this may resolve the problem for you.

Could you please try the following -

- Locate the games installation folder
- Right click on the games .exe file and select 'Properties'
- Select the 'Compatibility' tab
- Check the 'Run as Administrator box'
- Click 'Apply' then 'OK'
- Now try launching the Ubisoft connect .exe file

Let me know what happens next after saving these settings then trying to launch the game?

is it possible for the ubisoft support to solve this problem in just letting me run the game and ignoring the code in any way or do i have to return it?

i am thankful for every answer!
Hey there.

You shouldn't need to return the game no but we will absolutely look into this with you to try and get this sorted out for you via a support case.

You can reach us either through the support website by opening a live chat session or alternatively through our social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter and they will be able to create a support case for you.

Once that case is open or you've spoken to one of our Social Media support please send or attach screenshots of the folders below as well please.
