I just recently bought rainbow on steam and logged into the wrong account. I didn't care at the time but now I was trying to switch accounts to the one I used on my Xbox. While that wasn't hard I now have a new problem. I relinked my steam account to a the account I used on Xbox and it says there linked. But when I go to play rainbow it asks if I wanna link the binds to the new account and I say yes, then a error comes up saying "there was a problem authenticating the ownership of this product? I was wondering how to fix this problem. I was thinking maybe since I bought it on steam and then logged in to the wrong account it was forever "linked" as in saying I bought the game and that this account owns it. I hope I'm still able to switch accounts and play without having to buy it again.

Hello FurryMustache4, this certainly sounds like the game is linked to the wrong account as this is why you will usually see this message.

Can you please clarify for me what platform you are trying to play the game on now, Steam?
