Hello, a few days ago my Rainbow started having issues with it's Update Rate. Every few minutes I'll get a 30 second to a minute long stutter session that makes it almost impossible to play multiplayer or terrorist hunt. Between them, the game runs perfectly fine. Smooth as butter.

How do I fix this? I've tried the "disable fullscreen optimizations" that has been said to work for other people, but it's done nothing for me. Siege has never done this to me before.

I run a Dell G7 7790
Processor - Intel(R) Core i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz
16 GB RAM (15.8 Usable)
64 bit

Other games like Insurgency Sandstorm and GTA V that I'd consider relatively taxing on my laptop run fine. Rainbow used to, but now it doesn't.

How can I fix this?

Hi there,

Thanks for getting in touch.

Have you recently updated your graphics card and windows build?

Can I ask if you have VSync enabled? A known fix that sometimes solves this issue -
Inside R6 menu, go to Options > Display > Refresh Rate - and set Vsync to 60Hz and lock the FPS

There are more steps we can take with Vsync, but it depends on if you are using AMD or Nvidia.

Let me know how you get on and we can do some more troubleshooting.

Can I ask you to try launching the game after a clean boot to see if this helps with performance at all?
