Hey guys, I hope my English is good enough that you understand the problem.

I'm playing Rainbow Six since Season 1 and I got a lot of experience.

So here's the problem: I got a pS5 since release and try the PS5 version of R6 and I recognize very fast that the sound - actually the sound spectrum of the ambient noise - is to big.

I hear foot steps very clear and loud, I hear exactly where a enemy in PVP is or a terrorist in PVE.
I hear extremely clear and loud if they reinforce the wall or when the even move just for 1 second.

Now here is the sound bug: this is so loud that it always sounds like there right in front of me.

But there not. I hear Ash in a PVP right in front of me but she was 1 floor above me
I hear someone reinforce a wall right in front of me but I see nothing... because they reinforce a wall 1 floor above me again

I hear people walk in PVP and PVE right in front of me but they are in a different room, same floor but 40m away!

I can't play the PS5 version with that sound bug because with this wide spectrum of the ambient noise I can't relate where the enemy is.

That's why I switched back to the PS4 Version.

I can also record a training ground mission and post a video of it.

Hardware: PS5 - Astro A50 Gen 3 - USB Sound and Optical Sound. Sound bug is on both - PS4 version runs perfect - on both

Thank you for reporting this!

So to confirm, you are only encountering these issues on PS5? Not PS4?

Is this also the case regardless of the headset / speakers you're using when playing the game?

Can you also please confirm if these issues occur all the way through your match / play session or does the sound suddenly start misbehaving?

Could you advise if these sound inconsistencies occur in every single game you play or does it only happen occasionally?

Also, is there any possibility you could provide us with video footage showing this by any chance?
