I was playing some ranked matches today and after playing the first round or first couple rounds I would just be normally playing and then I would get kicked from the game by battleye and then I would log back in and I would be sanctioned and it said I was kicked for "inactivity" even though I was actively playing the match. This has happened to me four games in a row now and I don't want to play more ranked if this is going to keep happening. I don't hack, i'm not using any scripts, I don't have any other apps open besides discord and the steam menu and i'm not sure why I am getting kicked by battleye when I'm not even doing anything.

I'm sorry that you've been encountering this, Duck_Jesus

The first thing we'd advise is verifying the game files, as this should remove/reinstall BattlEye and may help with this issue. You can do this through the steps in the guide here.

It seems this is an issue that the team are aware of and is being looked into. At the moment there doesn't seem to be a workaround for this issue.

Does this for instance happen after the game has been running for a long time or can it happen in the first game of a session?

@Chrma- Is there any messaging that indicates why BattlEye is kicking you from the game? If not, you may be able to find a reason in launcher_log.txt which can be found here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\logs


@SFTD12 We have had reports of players being kicked for 'inactivity' despite being active, however we were unable to reproduce this ourselves.

Can you please advise how often you face this issue on average? The approximate date / time (with timezone) may also help our team investigate further.

I'm sorry to say I don't have a workaround for you at this time. The only investigation I can find for this issue is still ongoing and we're providing our devs with as much information as possible.

Apologies for the delay, I can see we missed a post from December.

I recommend checking the BattlEye FAQ which they keep up-to-date with the latest issues. Here you go: https://www.battleye.com/support/faq/

We have a support article relating to error 2-0X00019008 however that means kicked for inactivity. Perhaps this is a software conflict, in which case you can try disabling background applications to see if that helps.
