the game is unable to play, getting the error file corruption detected, the program will no be terminate. ive reinstalled, repaired and did everything people said on the internet and still cant play. i played for 220 hours without any issues and since the update i cant play. please help me fix this

We have found this issue can be solved by whitelisting R6 and Uplay in your Anti-Virus settings.

I couldn't say I'm afraid, every antivirus is different so you'd have to speak to their support or try googling how to whitelist applications in whatever antivirus you use.

Hey there.

Was the message "there was a problem authenticating the ownership of this product"? If so this error you're seeing is because you're launching the game whilst signed in to this Ubisoft account where the game hasn't been activated.

Are you aware of any other Ubisoft accounts you own? If so I would recommend signing in on those and trying again. When you're on the correct account you will no longer see this error.

If you're not sure of any other accounts you have if you can send through a screenshot from the following folders on a support case please. Do not post those screenshots to the forum. By default they will be found at the paths below, you might have one or sometimes both of these folders:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\cache\user_profile
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\cache\ownership
