[2021] [Bug/Glitch]Auto-connect to controller

Hi there, thanks for getting in contact and informing us of the issue you are experiencing with this phantom Xbox controller. So we can get this looked into further would you be able to confirm whether you have any other 3rd party devices plugged into your PC which may be getting recognised as this controller? If possible could you try to remove any additional devices and see if you still experience this issue?

Also, so we can investigate this further would you be able to confirm whether you have any wireless or bluetooth functions enabled? You should be able to check to see which devices you have connected to your PC directly in your device settings.

In the meantime, if you have any further insight to the cause of this or would like to provide any further details, please feel free to let us know.

All that is connected to my PC via bluetooth is the mouse, the external keyboard and the headset. Nothing else is connected via bluetooth, nor wire. As i live in a house, and not an apartement, my neighbours are too far away to connect their potential Xbox controller to my PC. And there has never been any Xbox in this house, ever. As it stands, I can confirm that this particular issue has been already brought up as we received a number of reports on this and it is currently being reviewed by our development team.

For the time being, in order to try and resolve this, give the following steps a go and see if it helps.
