Hello @Honkhonk780 the crossplay between Xbox and PlayStation players is not available until Year 7 Season 2, as it was initially delayed. So you should be able to play with a friend later on in the year, when this feature is enabled.

As previously mentioned by @Ubi-Milky, cross-progress should be out in Rainbow Six: Siege by the end of the year. That being said, we do not have a specific date for the release of this feature. I'd recommend keeping an eye on the News & Announcement page of this game, as this is where all the information regarding the addition of this feature will be added
