I have been having this Battleye error code (0x00001003) since the latest Y7S4.1 (december 13th 2022) patch and it is still happening even after changing the NAT-Type as recommanded by this user on a 2016 thread on steam: https://steamcommunity.com/app/359550/discussions/0/348292787747133043/
Here is what I have tried so far :
- Uninstalling and reinstalling -> FAILED
- Tried multiple different DNS servers -> FAILED
- Factory resetting my router -> FAILED
- Changing the NAT-Type by port forwarding all the ports that R6S uses -> FAILED
- Disabling my Antivirus -> FAILED
- Disabling Firewall -> FAILED
- Factory resetting my network configuration -> FAILED
- Verifying game files integrity via Steam -> FAILED
- Deleting the BEService.exe and folder and verifying game files integrity -> FAILED
- Uninstalling VMWare as it may interfere with my network configuration -> FAILED
- Uninstalling R6S, Uplay and Steam and reinstalling them -> FAILED
- Any combination of the possible fixes listed above and rebooting my PC after each combination -> FAILED
Is this peak R6S 2022 experience ?
I honestly don't know what to do now. Everything was working perfectly, patch gets released, nothing works. Every now and then a patch gets released and breaks Battleye and I usually have to wait for the next patch to come out to have the issue fixed.
