Hello. A couple days ago I logged into siege and found the game extremely stuttery, which was odd, since normally my PC maintains a solid 120ish framerate (1440p, ultra settings). The operator was constantly running slowly as if I was directing him against a wall and some of my mouse clicks would not even be registered. I decided to do some digging and turned on MSI afterburner which reported extremely low gpu usage, like about 10%. Clearly something is going wrong here. After changing APIs to DirectX11 everything worked fine with the expected high gpu usage and no stuttering/freezing at all. The game is simply unplayable with Vulkan for the time being which is a shame considering it used to run a lot better on my rig versus dx11. I am not exactly sure what broke siege for me, since I updated my Nvidia graphics drivers and the game updated at the same time so its hard to tell. My gpu is Nvidia geforce gtx 1080 ti and my current driver is 497.29 (the latest Nvidia offers at the time of writing). Lastly I would mention that other Vulkan based games seem to be running okay, for example Red Dead Redemption 2 (on vulkan) works just like it is supposed to, so the problem seems to be siege specific.
