It just won't connect to the server if I use my home ethernet/WiFi. I can connect to the game if I use my phone's hotspot (cellular data).

But my home Internet is completely fine for anything else. I can play overwatch, browse Internet and make this post with my home WiFi.

It's also unrelated to the PC since I tried two PCs, both won't work with my home WiFi or ethernet.

When I logged in yesterday afternoon, everything was fine. It happened last night around 9pm, and still like that for now. Please help.

Hey Leeeeon_, thanks for getting in touch and apologies about the delayed response.

As it stands, I can confirm that our game servers have been running as intended during the period you've mentioned and there have been no degradations or outages, therefore in order to resolve this, I would recommend you to try completing steps outlined in the following article, as based on your description, it does sound like you have good internet however there may be some limitations that are preventing you from accessing Rainbow Six: Siege servers, so give it a go, and keep us updated!

Should you have any questions in the meantime, let us know!

Hey Leeeeon_ thanks for coming back to us.

We won't be able to contact your Isp for you, this is not something we can do for each individual player but we can advise you on how to change your routers settings.

What you will need to do is set up port forwarding by logging into your router. Usually the IP address will appear on the back of your router along with any passwords needed. You can type the IP address of the router into your internet address bar then it should prompt you to log in.

From here you may be able to set up port forwarding which makes sure your router will open a port on your device that will make sure all game data gets sent to that device as a priority. If you are unsure of how to do this your ISP may have a guide as all routers are slightly different in their menu options.

Below are the ports you need to set up for Rainbow Six: Siege:

TCP: 13000, 13005, 13200, 14000, 14001, 14008, 14020, 14021, 14022, 14023, 14024
UDP: 6015

Do you by any chance have more than router? You could have a double NAT connection meaning, your data packets have to pass through two routers before they connect to your computer causing issue when trying to connect to our servers. Again you can reach out to your ISP to ask if you have double NAT or you can follow these steps to check this yourself -

- Press Windows key + R on PC
- Enter the letters: CMD and run as administrator.
- Enter the word: tracert -d 216.98.55.85
- You can then screenshot this and ask you ISP
