Since the new Season 3, Year 5, When I start up the game, everything is okay with my frame rate, but as soon as I start the game, the amount of frames on display amounts to on average 75 -85 fps. This is normal due to my setup, but it doesn't feel like that many frames. I have a 75 Hz monitor, and every movement feels so choppy. When I try to go on Vulkan, the frames are saying 50 - 65 fps, but when I tab out and go back in it stabilizes back to 80. This only lasts for 15 seconds, because after that, it goes back to 60 fps. Please help, I've tried disabling full-screen optimizations but it doesn't help.

Hey,

Please could you try the verify files option to see if this resolves your issue?

In Uplay - Select "Properties" located underneath the "Play" button and then select "verify files"

In Steam - From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache.

It's possibly being caused if you have other programs or background processes running using a lot of CPU % or memory. Next time you experience it, have a look at your task manager and have a look at what you don't need running when playing the game and choose to end the task on those.

Then restart the game if you don't see an instant improvement and see if this has made a difference.
