Firstly, before I delve deeper into the issues with Rainbow Six Siege, I would like to point out that the new "Ubisoft Connect" client is terrible. Other people's in-game status will always be wrong, you can't accept friend requests unless you Alt-Tab out to the client and the News tab never starts up.

Now, regarding Rainbow Six Siege, everything was fine until the day before yesterday. Whenever I try to open the game using Direct-X, it always crashes. Meaning that the only other option is to use the Vulkan API, but that too has its problems. Firstly, there's a tremendous amount of input lag for no reason whatsoever. Then there's the stuttering whilst in the Operator selection screen and the never-ending choppiness of the gameplay. Lastly, the servers are always horrible. From time to time, there's a sudden spike in latency for everybody in the match.

Also, these issues aren't new and have been happening for quite a while now.

Hello there, Wits.. I'm sorry to hear about your experience when playing Siege. I can totally understand how these are disruptive to gameplay. I'd like to look into some troubleshooting options to see if we can get things running more smoothly. First, give the steps found here a try, to clear your system's performance. It may also help to ensure that any unnecessary background applications are disabled while playing.

For connection issues, have you tried any connectivity troubleshooting? The steps found there are incredibly helpful in clearing your connection to our servers.

Hey Wits.,

Thank you for getting back to us, I'm sorry to hear you're unable to run the game, is this still the case?

If so, can you please open a case on our Support Site and send over your system files.

Open a case on your support site? And submit it to who exactly?

This is what your support site states; "In the light of the current situation, we are temporarily restricting our support to live chat only."
But, it also states; "Chat is currently unavailable. Please choose another support method", which is excellent.
