I've been playing siege since 2019. Recently getting this issue where the default data centre shoes 'ap-southeast-1' with the default ping as 42ms. However when matchmaking, I get connected to 'UAE North' and 'me-south' servers with the ping being 80ms. Previously used to connect to 'South East Asia' where the ping matched the data centre. Because of the timezone difference, this has not been a good experience. Please provide a solution.

By default, you will be connected to one of 3 datacentres that have the best ping for your location. This may mean being connected to a datacentre that is not necessarily where you currently live.

If you are currently connected to a Gamelift server, rather than one of our Playfab servers, however, you will be unable to change datacentres and the settings you try to change in the game settings file, will not work in-game.
