So when I launch the game through steam, it will ask me to bind my account, then I click yes, then it just says "There was a problem authenticating the ownership of this product. Please contact customer support if you need help in solving this problem" What do I do to fix this issue?

Hey there.

This error you're seeing is because you're launching the game whilst signed in to this Ubisoft account where the game hasn't been activated.

Are you aware of any other Ubisoft accounts you own? If so I would recommend signing in on those and trying again. When you're on the correct account you will no longer see this error.

If you're not sure of any other accounts you have if you can send through a screenshot from the folders listed below to us on a support case. By default they will be found at the paths below, you might have one or sometimes both of these folders:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\cache\user_profile
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\cache\ownership

You can reach us either through the support website by opening a live chat session or alternatively through our social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter and they will be able to create a support case for you. Thanks!
