I'm on Xbox One X and ever since the 4gb sugar fright update my game has been acting strange and crashing. When I start the game, it'll ask what profile I'm playing as, then it'll sync data, both of which it has never done before. Then when I try to play a match, it'll crash during that brief black screen when a match starts.

I'm sorry to hear the game is crashing. Can you try a reinstallation first of all?
Please also install to the main Xbox HDD rather than an external one too if possible.
