Hi there Ubi..

So actually, first of all i have a Ryzen 7 5800X CPU and a RTX 3080 GPU paired with 24 gigs of RAM. I hope this much information will be helpful for my question below.

Actually, I am having some performance issues about my massive drop in fps, thing is about a month ago when I was playing Rainbow six with all the settings at ultra (maxed out settings and 100 Render scale and Ultra HD textures downloaded) with a 2K resolution (2160p x 1440p) with 4:3 aspect ratio I used to get like 185 to 210 fps average in game during gameplay which was perfect. But after a month or so that is right now, I was experiencing some really bad fps drop that is around 95 to 110 fps average in game, that is a drop of a massive 90 to 95 fps average.

I also took the benchmark as I was concerned but I got the same result as well. I thought it might be some issue with my Geforce Driver so I reinstalled it and also updated my windows to the latest version, but its still having the same issue. I also verified the game files and it were perfectly installed. I even restored to default but was having the same issue still.

The thing to note is when I was doing a benchmark run and also playing with all settings maxed out at 2K I was getting 95 to 110 average fps as I told earlier, but even when I lowered my settings, it was still the same fps which is very weird keeping in mind that I have a RTX 3080 which runs Rainbow Six Siege all maxed out at 230 to 300 fps average overall. I tried various settings but got the same issue of a massive drop of fps.

.

PLEASE HELP ME. I am getting frustrated with this issue.

I Hope I would get a good help from you guys as you guys are my last hope. Thanks in advance, please reply ASAP....

Peace out[/COLOR]

Hello!

Thank you for such a detailed thread, this will really help us investigate for you.

A reduction of graphics settings having no effect on your FPS would usually indicate a CPU bottleneck, however I doubt this will be the reason in your case.

- If you were to jump to 4K (solely for testing purposes), how does that impact your FPS?
- Did you notice what may have changed for this issue to occur? (Game update / driver update)
- If you rollback to driver version 457.51, does that help?

Regarding my third point - We had some Anno 1800 players report lower FPS following versions after 457.51 so I thought it best to check.

We'll do our best to help thanks for your time!

Well i dont have a 4K monitor, but as you said if i switch the resolutiin it still doesnt affect, its the same issue. Also i tried to roll back the driver, but i was having the same problem woth the 451 driver as well

Thing to notice here is that i am getting proper fps in other games, it is just this game that happens to have this fps drop issue.

Also, i doubt this game, because it was all workin fine before a month with a 180 to 200 average fps, but then after a game update or something it qent down to 90 to 110 fps...

Well help me out. Please reply soon...
Hey PePew.-.,

Thank you for getting back to us with that!

May we also know what version of the game have you tried / are encountering this with?

Does this happen with both the DirectX and Vulkan versions?

Stezoi, I'm sorry to hear you're also having issues, would you also be able to confirm the above as well as Orion's queries too so we can check for any common trend on both of your issues?

As well as provide your specs

Thank you!
