i have bought rainbow on steam and i try to launch it and uplay pops up and it says i can not play cause it cant find that i own the game even though i do and i need help with this.

The reason you're receiving this error message, is because you're connecting to the wrong Uplay account, than it was linked to when launched for the very first time.

To have this resolved, you need to make sure you are logged in to the right one and error will no longer appear.

Have you purchased the game again on PC? It does need to be purchased again if you wish to play on a different platform. I've checked this account you've reached out to us on and there are no games linked to your account so if it was purchased on PC it's been purchased on a different account.
