If possible, see if an SSD alleviates this. Although I'll do a deep dive now and see if anyone else was experiencing this and potential fixes - thanks for the report either way!

Which mods?

Playing on HDD, SSD? The sound issue you're having almost seems like storage is having trouble keeping up with the action on screen - it's an odd issue though. Can't say I've seen other reports about it.

Ok thanks, but I find it strange how the modding manager implemented into the game even allowed this file upload in the first place. Seems like a big risk for potential users. Maybe you guys should adapt nexus instead of Mod.io

There are valid reasons for Exe files to be apart of mods.

I don’t believe using other mod managers would fully eliminate these kinds of issues.

Hey just an update on this.

This mod contained an Exe which specifically logged into discord and attempted to exploit the user. It was scanned but it’s not an detected as a virus, as it’s specifically crafted to use discord.

As a word of warning, do not run exes from unverified mods.

Also, Ready or Not will not specifically run any executables, and only loads contents from pak files.
