Hey, hi, hello!

I'm not sure if I wanna give this necropost too much attention as it can be controversial to some and I ain't about drama buttttttt... It should be clear, I was not with Facepunch yet when that post was made. That was just my own research and volition on my own personal website.

With that said, crosshairs are still no big deal. The facts are still the same about standalone crosshairs vs. ones that come with cheat packages. Download at your own risk. Best to stay away if you're a potato.

Why not just make them a default BP since you can find them everywhere anyway and they really aren't that useful once you get to T2.

The game design intention is for you to scavenge for the pieces during the early game, they're easily found at and around the roadside.

Better parts can be bought at the Vehicle Parts shop at the bandit camp or unlocked at tier 2 tech tree.

We've no intention of adding them to the workbench level 1 tech tree or adding them as default blueprints at this time.

Is this issue an intended change? If so, PVE server owners benefit greatly from having the murderers/zombies roaming the map for added immersion and I would request this be reconsidered.

Seasonal content may break outside of when it's officially enabled. We should be handling that better so we'll take a look, thanks for the report.

Excavator


The excavator has received a massive production buff. One unit of Diesel fuel will run the excavator for 2 minutes and produce any one of the following yields :
  • 100 HQM
  • 2000 Sulfur Ore
  • 10,000 Stone
  • 5000 Metal Fragments



In addition to this, a terminal can now be found next to the generator. While the excavator is powered on, the communications relay will charge. Once it has charged for 100% (10 minutes or 5 diesel by default) you can use the terminal to request airdrop supplies to the excavator.



Hopefully these changes to the excavator will see it be a more viable and widely used monument.
