s | everyone my name is Jace I'm a program |
s | in the community manager here at coffee |
s | stain studios and guess what I'm on |
s | vacation that's right |
s | I'm someone else needs to edit this |
s | video and put it out while I'm away I |
s | hope that that will be done before I get |
s | back what I want to tell you all about |
s | today are two different kinds of patches |
s | that we plan on doing the first kind is |
s | larger content updates they're you know |
s | they're bigger new things are released |
s | like trains for example then there are |
s | also smaller bug fix patches and those |
s | are for the smaller bugs that are kind |
s | of critical between the big content |
s | patches so that we can fix things so |
s | people can keep playing or whatever the |
s | bigger content update patches aren't |
s | always just reliant on the big feature |
s | that they will also include many many |
s | different like quality of life updates |
s | and stuff as well now those things may |
s | be ready earlier you know we may finish |
s | a quality-of-life update this week but |
s | we're not going to release it until the |
s | end of the month and the reason for that |
s | is we want to group as many things into |
s | one update as possible so even if we |
s | have part of the content for the big |
s | content update patch ready like for |
s | example a lot of smaller quality of life |
s | fixes we're still going to hold it off |
s | until the end of the month we don't want |
s | to keep updating every single week |
s | unless it's they're critical bugs that |
s | need fixing and the reason for that is |
s | because even putting in a small update a |
s | small quality of life update can |
s | introduce a large issue so what we want |
s | to do is we want to make sure that we |
s | spend enough time testing any fix that |
s | we do and if we group them all up into |
s | one big content update patch then we |
s | only have to test that one |
s | [Music] |
s | so that's kind of why we hold off for an |
s | entire month |
s | even if some parts of the content update |
s | patch already we don't want your to |
s | break the other kind of patch we're |
s | gonna be doing our bug fix patches |
s | they're gonna be small patches taking |
s | care of just critical issues and as I |
s | said before this is because every small |
s | thing that we introduced into the game |
s | risks destabilizing the game and so we |
s | only want to limit the fixes we do |
s | weekly to be four critical issues only |
s | but generally gonna be aiming to have |
s | these patches out on every Tuesday |
s | hopefully Tuesday TM and the reason for |
s | that is a little schedule plan thing |
s | that we've got going is will work until |
s | Thursdays to fix whatever we can and |
s | from there we branch it up put it up |
s | onto a test server so that our small |
s | test group contested over Thursday and |
s | Friday we come back to work on Mondays |
s | we fix whatever problems that they found |
s | and then we launch it to everyone in |
s | Tuesdays and then we continue the rest |
s | of the week fixing what we just broke |
s | again so long story short we're gonna |
s | have a big update at the end of April |
s | and May and perhaps we're gonna continue |
s | a monthly thing but we don't know and |
s | we're also gonna have small critical bug |
s | fixes every week on Tuesdays so you can |
s | all expect that and hopefully we can |
s | stick to that if anything changes we'll |
s | let you know so I hope you all found |
s | that information interesting |
s | just a reminder please leave any |
s | feedback bug reports questions |
s | suggestions on our website questions |
s | satisfactory game comm please put it |
s | there so that other people in the |
s | community can help you upload any bug |
s | reports that you may have and also so |
s | the dev team here can see what you're |
s | saying and don't send them to me don't |
s | send to my inbox because even when I'm |
s | here at work I can't really help you |
s | when you do that and also I'm on |
s | vacation now so I still kind of you do |
s | that so please please please use that |
s | website and I hope you have a lovely day |
s | and life I'll catch you whenever bye |
s | Oh |
