Another hotfix is out now!
This one fixes the bug where water extractors couldn't be placed in certain places, and it also includes a few optimization tweaks.

Howdy folks! Super cool to see a bunch of you enjoying Update 8! The team is combing through the QA site carefully and we are aware of things such as FPS stutters, unable to slide under some belts, visually rotated train tracks, and more - thank you all for the feedback!
A ✨ hotfix ✨ just went out to address some issues; such as being unable to slide under conveyor belts, trees collisions, FOV scaling issues on equipment, water missing, etc.

As for D3D crashes, please try update your drivers. NVIDIA users may find results in switching to Studio drivers. We will continue investigating!

As said in prior vids/streams: Global illumination (Lumen) is not officially supported - though this wasn’t made clear in the menu.
This means it is not intended to be on all the time, and we aren’t optimising for it, but we’re leaving it in just in case you wanna check it out.
In the meantime for folks experiencing performance issues: consider tweaking your video settings - especially your anti-aliasing settings!
Switching anti-aliasing from TSR to FXAA or TAA may make a huge difference for some.
We’re hoping to get a patch out this week that might address some of the bugs and we’ll continue investigating performance issues throughout the experimental period.
We’ll drop a video later this week with more info.
