Do you know that Scum is probably the only game that has weapons decay and malfunctions system? So why other, so called serious military sims, don't have it already? @borsio_official they've added it after some year or so after we had it.. and it's much simpler...

@Derlethe @abshabab5 yes they have it, but it's pretty basic.. as everything else in Dayz.

@Derlethe @abshabab5 We have a misfire in the game if that's what you are asking. It's called a "bad round" malfunction. Happened to me a couple of times.

@lanwax A faster decay is added for the gameplay purposes. Also rifles jam quite often in real life, especially those that are actually used, instead of being kept in boxes between going to the range. We shot with several totally new guns and had 4-5 malfunctions on the range. So it's OK

@cozyrobinson Taking criticism is not the problem, but ignorance is. Also when I make a parallel from time to time that's a huge issue, but when I get hundreds of messages from people doing the same while cherry picking things that's fine. Go ahead, just don't forget all stuff we have.

@cozyrobinson That's your way of seeing things. If I get told that some other game has something and I reply with facts, that's how things are. It's not sh*tting on other dev's work. I'm not the one here who has issues accepting things how they are.

@pepsiIon @borsio_official Completely different games. I rarely bring ETF since there is nothing close to survival in that game, but I do get lot of responses from the community. This kind of comparison is much easier than answering hundreds of messages. People don't like to spend time to check the facts.

@KoKostinho @Jordan31216229 No offense but that's almost all what ETF has, but it's a good selling point though. I'm just tired of people pushing ETF into survival when it's no more than arcadish PvP game. I'm totally fine with ETF, but no the same thing. Not even close.

@KoKostinho @Jordan31216229 Also DayZ is WAAAAAY more complicated game than ETF in almost every aspect. It would be interesting to see if BSG would be capable to produce something like DayZ

@cozyrobinson DayZ is far from being arcade, but it's far from being sim when it comes to gun mechanics too. Unfortunately that's because it was left by devs. EFT didn't have ballistics up until lately, and that says everything. Do you have any more frustrations for me to deal with?

@Jester_Jay_Fox Overheating is possible, faulty ammo is already in the game. Squib rounds are also possible. I think that we have something like this when you use wrong caliber on revolvers.

@cozyrobinson Sure, will be glad to see all the features we included from the EA release up to today. If you have trouble understanding how things work like metabolism, attributes, soft skills relative to weapon handling and other things I'd be glad to help you out.

@Jester_Jay_Fox Armor in Scum is crap currently. The system is fine, doesn't need rework just adjusting it properly.

@TheJudge471985 the weapon? no, not yet.

@cozyrobinson Good, since many players don't understand that shooting a bullet in Scum has to do with far more things than just aiming, weapons sway, recoil and pressing LMB. That was lost in the course of too long development time. Anyway, I'm here to help and to be criticized if necessary:)

@cozyrobinson @CroMakica Malfunctions aren’t 100%, they did it some year or so after us, probably shat themselves seeing what we have, but it wasn’t stolen. Our is far better :)

@RealPheidian Yes, in reality it wouldn’t heal up not nearly that fast. The problem is with everything else, if it takes too long majority of players might rather commit suicide than to try to heal up. Sometimes we need to sacrifice reality over the balance. Maybe we could prolong it a bit

@bogdan53781 Everything good, I do get emotional and frustrated with the development too, and it bothers me that sometimes is hard to communicate what is going on our side. Also many people don’t bother to listen which doesn’t help too.
