You've seen the 0.85v trailer. This is how everything started a few months ago with this mock-up.
We started working on 0.85 sometime in late January, and along with it we produced 3 updates, 6 hotfixes, 2 DLCs and 3 trailers. This was by far one of the most productive quarters http://pbs.twimg.com/media/FwReYYsXgAEN82g.jpg
In some 70 workdays (without the overtime), all of them worked on the main trailer for at least 20 full days, some almost 40. They have created:
1. synopsis and the story, defined the characters and a dialogue
2. Recorded animations - Recording with a several actors and...
Let me give you some insight on the work that animation team did. First I have to say that they are by far the best animators we had so far, not only skill-wise but also how well they are organized.The 0.85v trailer was a big test for them and they passed with flying colors.
4. All animations had to be cleaned up and adjusted to fit well on the scenes. A lot of manual work.
5. They produced all the levels and set up lighting for the scenes
6. Particle and VFX had to be created for all scenes also
7. Rendering and post editing, the published version..
scene setups resulted in 60 minutes of material, approx. 3 times more than for any previous trailer we did.
3. Sentry and facial animations were animated manually. Both are very complex and time consuming. You have to be sure about the scenes to be able to plan them in advance..
Just in the 40 days, the animation team of 5 did over 250hours of overtime to make everything on time. We have learned a lot in making of this trailer, and we will keep learning more with each subsequent one. Can't wait to see how the cut scenes for the campaign will look like.

8. That everything was done in parallel with taks needed for the game itself, which included anims for two weapons (FPV,TPV, 3 stances both), sentry animations, and hundreds of custom grips for the new cooking items.
@NOOB7271 ASAP I promise. We need to apply damage model for all vehicles first. Planes are waiting for it. Otherwise people will exploit planes to get into bases easily
