Happy holidays, pirates! We hope you have a good day, however you're spending it this year. ❤
If you could ask us for anything for Christmas, what requests would you make, pirates?
Secret Santa
As a special almost-Christmas treat, we've managed to swipe a sample of @TobyStephensInV, AKA Black Sails' Captain Flint, reading Sea of Thieves novel Athena's Fortune! You'll be able to stream/download the full audio book early next year, but for now, enjoy his handsome timbre.
Attention pirates! Our Community crew have dropped anchor and are retreating to their quarters for some seasonal rest.
You'll see the odd tweet wash up, but we'll be back in January with high spirits and an eye towards an incredible 2021. Until then, cheers for sailing with us!
If you've put out some decorations for the holidays, we have to ask... any pirate-themed bedecking at your place?
Please give a cheer for the Affiliate Alliance, crew of 2020! Our affiliated fan communities have led some brilliant events and varied initiatives this year, and we couldn't be prouder to partner with them. Find a group that fits your sailing style here:
Our pirates may not always be on key, but they're certainly full of festive cheer. And by festive cheer, we mean rum. Our Christmas no. 1 contender '12 Deeds of Giving' is available to stream and buy from your platform of choice whenever you fancy!

Sea of Thieves is now 50% off on Xbox, Windows 10 and Steam! Next round's on us if you could let any prospective pirates know, cheers. 🍻
Xbox/Windows 10: #SteamWinterSale:
Instructions: 1. Print the template 2. Cut around the circle template 3. Follow the folds in order, one at a time 4. Cut around the outline of the shape, being careful. It's recommended to use a box cutter for the finer details 5. Unfold your piratical snowflake 6. Have a drink
Sneak some Sea of Thieves style into your seasonal decorating by stringing scoundrel-inspired snowflakes around your quarters! Simply print the templates then cut, fold and cut some more to create pretty piratical snowfall. We recommend scissors though - stow the cutlass for now.
The Sea of Thieves has established a number of traditions and rituals. Some of these even involve their own myths and legends - such as the fearsome Bonechiller Skeleton Lord who is said to hunt selfish pirates during the Festival of Giving. #TriviaTuesday

The Sea of Thieves crew will be enjoying their own festivities of giving next week, so please raise your tankards and join us one last time (for 2020) as we say cheers and good luck to some of the newest Pirate Legends sailing the seas! 🍻
Honoured to find Sea of Thieves nominated in the #SteamAwards Better With Friends category - thank you pirates! Voting opens 10am PST Dec 22nd. If you could keep your crew away from the grog barrel until they've done that, we'd be eternally grateful.
