As you can see in about this subreddit is supposed to be run by the community and supported by devs. No devs moderate the Reddit (I'm the only one on the team with mod rights, and I'm happy to give those up when we have an active mod team on here) - I won’t (and haven't) delete any messages (that aren't pure spam) or muted anyone - that’s up to the mods. We are however here to officially respond to questions when they pop up and we pass by.
But to get in touch with us easier we recommend discord for now (also stated in the about section). Since there is no in-game chat we recommend using discord if you want to talk to your team, therefore this is the logical place for us to be present. Since we’re a very small team we can’t keep 100% track of multiple sites and can’t promise feedback here won’t get lost - so we recommend feedback be shared on the discord for us not to miss it.

Read moreIve played mostly solo, around level 18 so far. I honestly think the tuning of dino health is fine for solo play, it is just the endless spawns during mission objectives that makes for an overvearing solo experience. Theres no time to reload/heal/steal the egg/summon the carrier in between the endless onslaught. The "recovery" periods dont exist for solo players creating a pacing that is not feasible to match for what I would guess is the majority of players.
The nature of the AI where it tunnels on a single player also makes the dinos such as rexes a bit too much to navigate as solo once additional add spawns start joining the fight. Unless rex fights swap to a phase based fight where hollows can spawn during the rexes rest periods i believe the pure number of ai that join the fight is too much for solo without heavily relying on explosives.
Solo play also hinders build variety. The delay on shots for the carbine for instance makes it a no go for solo players. You ...

Hi! Solo is currently a really rough experience that we’ve tried to message. Check out the “before you buy” section on our steam page (first section of text) to get a grasp of where we’re at. We’re planning on balancing the solo experience during early access with your help. While some are having fun already we have a lot to improve to get it as tight as we want it to be. So if you do decide to try it please share your feedback!

I know man. I've been excited for this since the Xbox showing. Even getting it on steam just cuz I'm an inpatient asshole. That and if I can provide meaningful feedback to help make it better I'll end up with a better product on the Series X. So win win
