Who knew that the discussion around Bastet could get so heated? Some comments were locked due to arguments and name-calling breaking out. Just a reminder that there's no reason to insult others, it's okay to disagree!

No, I'm saying our mods should be above it as well. You sure like to try to instigate for someone who is meant to keep peace.

Uh... It's an automated removal reason we've been using for years, I didn't write that

Not sure what you're aiming to say here? Are you saying we should allow the harassment of people who aren't skilled at the game?

No I understand what you’re saying. Just frustrated is all. I’m not one to rant but it’s every time I go to play the game I see these huge updates. There’s clearly a problem on my end since it’s not common to get these all the time. I’ll contact support. Sorry for being rude

That's alright, if you do need any more game help you can also contact them through the official discord as they are currently migrating their customer support ticket system. If it continues to be an issue, we have patch day megathreads as seen with this patch, and you're obviously welcome to comment under there as HiRez monitors those threads as well.

Changing shit for the worst on top of that. There’s a reason most the comments on your post regarding the patch are f**king complaints. My favorite game is BF4 because they don’t update shit because the game is fine as it is. Add a god, buff/nerf a couple things, sure. 20+ GB updates every month is annoying and dumb af. And it makes no sense that my updates are always f**king huge when apparently they never are except patches which I understand, but are still way too f**king big

Just because I'm a mod doesn't mean I don't think the patch was executed badly for console players, it's a real problem and it needs to be fixed. However, I'm here saying that 30+GB updates are normal for any season patch if you think about it for more than a second, and if you're having updates that are as huge every month, you need to see what's wrong cause it ain't smite. But as per our rules, no ranting for the sake of ranting is allowed.

If you'd like to continue this conversation or don't like my removal, you're welcome to send a modmail and another mod will talk with you.

And updates should NEVER be this big regardless. 30+ GB is f**king insane.

What's lame is complaining about something without having a clue what you're talking about. The amount of changes is INSANE in this patch, so many new assets were added. Anyone who knows even the tiniest bit of game dev would know this is more than normal.

You're free to argue that if you want to, but it's okay to just say you didn't know it was a big patch

Removed this post because it's baseless ranting. Yes, the latest update is 30+ GB but that's because it's a season patch and not just "fixing a few things" which is visible all over this subreddit before you posted, AND in the changed splash game art.

If you're getting large updates every time, go contact support, because as you stated yourself, others don't.
