I'm surprised you feel this way give how long you've been playing, but that's always kinda been the theme with Smite season patches. Doing major overhauls like this adds the chance to monitor the change as a whole, and having the PTS period allows the change to be semi balanced when it gets to the live client.

Please do not avoid our language filters.
