Lemme just say that I'm not questioning the professionalism of any HiRez employees here. My point is that it's not the same as sports. The thing is, HiRez has complete authority over who appears in their pro games, with only 40 players in total competing at SWC. It's very much different than a large-scale NBA environment where there are insane amounts of players. I won't watch a basketball match and be like "wow there's sure a lot of arguing, NBA really allows toxicity in basketball so I won't play any during my own free time" but a random person seeing Smite for the first time and seeing this clip with the n-th post here on Reddit about how toxicity is bad in Smite WILL say "huh this game seems cool but the people say it's very toxic and this clip sure seems to confirm it"
