[2020] Launcher looses read/write access

What antivirus app do you use?

Add stellaris.exe to the exceptions list of your antivirus app; ESPECIALLY if you have Windows Defender, add it to the Ransomware "Apps Allowed Through" list.  

The same fix works with any game that uses the launcher.

In Steam right click on the game, manage, browse local files.
