We just deployed a fix for the ownership verification for Astral Planes. If you had those issues, we ask you to verify Stellaris Game files.

In order to do so, right click on Stellaris on your library, then Properties, Local Files and Verify Game Files.

Additionally, there are another couple of steps you can take:

-- Right click Steam, click "Run as Administrator", check the DLC ownership through the game.
-- (In Windows) Go to Add/Remove Programs, and uninstall Paradox Launcher V2, then relaunch the game through Steam.

We want to thank all the affected players for their reports, in particular those who helped us troubleshooting the issue on Discord. If you continue having issues, please let us know!

Originally posted by whereisscott: It was running fine for me until the hotfix that just was issued. Now it's saying the DLC is missing and I can't open my savegame file. I've verified the game, but the issue is persisting.

After verifying the files, can you please right-click Steam and run as administrator, and let me know if that resolves your issue?

Originally posted by whereisscott: I'm the only user on my Mac, so I'm already the Admin (sorry, didn't make it clear I was on a Mac). Confirmed in the Permission for Steam that this is being run with full read/write permissions.

I'm not sure if it's the same for Mac as on a Windows machine, but even though I'm the admin/only user on my machine, I still need to do the "run as admin" thing for certain actions (some unrelated to gaming). Can you try it and let me know?

Originally posted by whereisscott: Yeah, there's no option to "run as admin" when you right click on programs with a Mac. It's just not there in the dropdown menu. From what I understand, if you're the only user on a Mac, you're automatically the Admin and programs automatically run at that permission level (but let me know if I'm getting this wrong).

Running a File as Administrator on Mac:
Locate the file you want to run as an administrator.
Hold down the "Control" key on your keyboard and click on the file.
From the context menu, select "Open" while still holding down the "Control" key.
If prompted, enter your administrator credentials.

Originally posted by TeamLoad: It doesn’t work, as I already said in the comments under the news about the release of the DLC, it’s not displayed for me only in the game, that is, in the launcher everything is displayed for me that was purchased and installed, as well as turned on.

I have personally worked to troubleshoot this issue, so I know what you're seeing, alas. Please Verify your game files in Steam (right click Stellaris in your library -> Properties - Installed Files -> Verify), then exit Steam, and run Steam as an administrator.

Verifying the files will re-sync with the latest version of the game, and should resolve the issue. If it does not, you can try running the Launcher's beta version (Under Launcher settings) and restarting the game.

Have you tried using the beta version of the launcher as I suggested?

Yep

Ugh, that's disappointing! I don't have any additional steps you can try, but I'll let our team know. Thanks for your patience!
