Essentially the new 2023.14.2 launcher ought to work, but you might have to do some things to get it applied if 2023.14 keeps crashing before the update happens.
Newest Paradox Launcher version 2023.14 does not work on Linux
I am running Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS / GNOME 42.9 / X11. I realize that Pop!_OS isn't strictly supported, but since it's close enough to Ubuntu I'm hoping there can be a solution anyway.
