It's the Monday after announcement of @PDXVictoria, time to sort through all the feedback we've been reading and discuss it internally. Thank you all for the overwhelming response, I'm so excited to finally be able to talk about this!
Now that PDXCON is over and we've had a chance to take in the reactions, I just want to say that we've heard your concerns about political parties in @PDXVictoria
We're actively discussing their role in the politics system right now, and more details about this will be forthcoming in a dev diary sometime in the future :)
@capalatriste0 @PdxInteractive @PDXVictoria We're not intending any start dates besides 1836 for release but I wouldn't completely rule out earlier start dates post release. No promises though.
@amIMikeD @PDXVictoria If we do add parties it wouldn't be as a replacement for interest groups, I can say that much. There are certainly numerous states where parties didn't exist in 1836.
Today we end of the string of map teasers with a couple more minor changes - some changes to Finnish/Karelian State Regions, and the addition of Circassia and the Caucasian Imamate.
