Crema, please make grinding unrelated to a players ability to battle with the best Tems. Give players other things to grind/breed for. Mounts, achievements, titles, different Lumas, whatever. Making stats (vertical progression) the carrot on the stick is not only an outdated MMO tactic, it’s also toxic to competitive battling. And this is a game about battling.
We've never said players will need to grind Temtem to play competitive matches, in fact, we said multiple times the contrary.
yep i agree, im pretty sure you are right about this. a vpn does indeed work for me (which maybe i should have mentioned) but this is obviously not a long term solution nor is it something i want to do, it slows down my entire internet activity and i cant do anything else other than play. no streams, no youtube, nothing i normally do while playing.. + i honestly just dont want to pay even more money..
also funny that youre mentioning the ports - i have been trying to message them about the exact same thing. asking what ports should be opened but with no success tho. it sucks that we cant even get basic information like that

Your comments make me think that you guys don’t actually understand why people are worried about this and that’s honestly even more worrisome. Please listen to the players on this.
Fact is: if perfect stats exist it will always be mandatory for competitive anything because that’s what players will always strive for to win.
I understand why people are worried and why everyone thinks that's the case (because it is the case in Pokémon) but like I said, grinding stats are not going to be necessary for pure competitive PvP.
