[2023] I'm really disappointed with the response of the connection issues

I've been such a long time avid player of temtem, I literally breathed and loved this game for so long, putting in thousands of hours into it. Doing every single thing I could possible imagine, perfect breeding because I love it and just truly wanting to be apart of the community and do lairs, trading and chatting.

But from 1.3 onward. I have unable to connect to the servers, period. It just happened one day, I have no idea why the case was. I did everything to try to solve it, resetting my router, changing IPs, reinstalling the game, changing firewall settings, I even tried connecting to the game on my steam deck. But the fact that after all that it didn't work didn't stop me. I truly love this game, with a lot of passion, so I made a ticket in the discord, I explained the situation, gave my trainer ID, screenshots of it on my steamdeck, logs, all of it. I was basically ignored for 2 weeks, only to be told to "Try using a VPN because of your ISP".

I have never once had an issue where T-Mobile, my awful internet provider has prevented me from playing or connecting to a game, temtem is quite literally the only game or internet-accessed thing I have being restricted from because of it. And to just see how easily discarded I was, basically left to the side because it's not that big of a deal of an issue is saddening. This game means a lot to me, and the fact that this issue is just being ignored just makes me feel like I don't really matter to the game, which. I mean, It's entirely fair. But I've seen so many people in the same position, unable to connect because of their ISP. And are unable to use a VPN due to regulation in their country. I personally just don't like the appeal of a VPN in my case, especially because most VPNs that do offer enough bandwidth or data limits aren't free. Maybe I haven't looked hard enough, but, it just is a big spit in the face when you're basically forced to do something that might not even be entirely safe to play a game. Maybe I'm overreacting, maybe I'm just doing something wrong. But it is really sad to see happen.
